"The soul always knows how to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind..." - Caroline Myss
Build something great of yourself and your life, then protect it with all of your heart and soul. That is what God did, and he makes no exceptions for evil, no compromises. Even to the point of casting out his own son, Adam, and Eve, for introducing evil into the Garden. It wasn't so much the disobedience, it was about what they brought into God's work, and them denying what they had done, in fact sheltering evil within them. You must do the same for your life, kick out anyone who does not support and respect you as you are, who you have become, and who you want to be. God leads by example, so should you...
THE BEGINNING OF ANY HEALING JOURNEY
Money and sex, root and sacral chakras, that is where I advise everyone to start with when taking on a deeper healing journey. Unless you have been at it for a while and already have a good grasp on your needs, and have done a lot of work on the lower energy centers and have healed a good part of your past, start there. Even if you have done a lot of work, you still need to keep reviewing all aspects of your life, and especially those two lowest chakras, as they are at the root of many problems in our society, and will keep coming back and biting you in the ass if you forget the lessons of the past. We can so easily get sidetracked by unhealthy values on sex and money, it is everywhere. And often, the more money a person makes, the more they will need to monitor any abusive behaviors, especially related to sex and money, and also, they can be prone to becoming very egocentric and self-absorbed, putting any notion of God and higher beliefs aside.
This is a bit of an exception I make, in regards to mainly helping people with strong values in God and higher spiritual aspirations, for those who have the first two energy centers very out balance. It is hard for anyone with a history of sexual dysfunctional energies and issues with root/foundation energies, to have enough emotional bandwidth and resources to focus on anything but those basic needs, so God might need to be put a little on the backburner at times, for a while. Not forgotten though, but as Maslow's hierarchy of needs, it can be difficult to get to higher levels of self-realization when those lower needs are too far from perfect, especially when we don't have anyone in our immediate surroundings to help us with our higher spiritual aspects.
"Healing is the return of the memory of wholeness..." - Deepak Chopra
Many of our lost parts relate to those lower aspects of our spiritual existence, and it is hard to work on any other aspect of our lives if those are not functional enough, as they contribute to the foundation of our spiritual and soul energies. Think about a pale full of water, with holes in the bottom, holes a bit above the bottom, and so forth, seven levels of holes. If you have holes in the bottom, the pale will never hold any water, at all, but a few drops on the very bottom which have not escaped from the hole, a thin layer of water at most. That is your root chakra, when that one is very dysfunctional, you will not have enough spiritual energy to make proper decisions with your life, not healthy ones at least. Like people only valuing money and fame, nothing else, as most likely money and career will always be your main focus. Even billionaires can have a poverty mentality, and they often do, that is often what pushed them to make so much money in the first place, but don't try telling that to them though...
If that lowest chakra is very out of balance, a healing journey will be nearly impossible to make progress on, as your efforts will often drain away as long as you are not comfortable, have found peace, with what you do to earn your living, the amount of things you have, and how you compare yourself to others from a material standpoint. It can be a bit of a catch 22, if you have not found your sense of purpose, you can have a hard time accepting what you do for a living. If you have a hard time accepting what you do for a living, then you will have a hard time developing spiritual maturity to feel purpose in what you do.
But such is spiritual growth, it is not easy, otherwise everyone would be super enlightened. So again, those who still have a hard time building up their faith in God, or a higher power, don't give up on your soul nonetheless. Start small, start with the lowest energy centers, research on what they are, how they are represented in all aspects of your life, from your childhood up to now, and do some work on them. Yoga and grounding exercises, meditation, re-evaluating what you do for a living, where your money comes from, what you do with it. Stop comparing yourself to the people around you, and instead seek out a role model to aim for, and gage your progress on goals that make sense to you, instead of how well you are doing compared to the people at work and in your social circle. That is a good part of healing the root chakra.
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it..." - Rumi
Yes, as I often mention, heal your lost parts by breaking down the barriers that separates them from you, the fears and pain they contain. All that is not well, all that is jealousy, resentment, bitterness, racism, those create the walls of the prisons that hold your lost parts captive. You are love, they are love, but everything that is not of love keeps them, and you, apart. Narcissists work on building walls of hate and fear around them, and in everyone that tries to get close to them, because they are afraid of love, they are afraid of God, and are afraid of their true self. Remove all that is not of God, of love, within you, and every part will collapse onto itself, becoming whole and loving.
We ruin this process when we put aside our true nature and run after love in this world, from others. It is odd to think about it this way, but that is often how we end up running away from love, by running towards people whom we think will give us what we already have, as our true nature, our soul, is connected to the source of love itself.
Back to the sacral chakra: Think about your past history with sex, from childhood, and into your adult life. Heal what does not feel right to you, speak about your experiences, express yourself with your body, healthy things, like dancing, playing like a child, crying out those pains of the past, eating wholesome and grounding foods. Be careful of addictions, consider how you feel about your body, develop strong and healthy boundaries, increase your ability to say no to situations and words which don't feel right to you. Consider how much, or how little, love and affection you received in your childhood, if you had too little, or too much of it. The sacral energy center, which does also affect your sexual energy, isn't all about sex, or sexual misuse or abuse. Yes, many people cause themselves sexual abuse by misusing their sexual energy, porn is a clear example, having promiscuous sex, or denying those energies altogether.
“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you—all of the expectations, all of the beliefs—and becoming who you are..." - Rachel Naomi Remen
Lack of affection can also cause sexual dysfunctions, seeking out affection through sex, or mixing up sex and love, or only showing love and affection to your romantic partner, and no one else. When this energy center is dysregulated, so many of our emotional needs don't get met in a satisfying way. Yes, not getting enough affection, not enough hugs and kisses as a child, can affect your sexual energy, as so many people seek out romantic partners for that purpose alone, or mostly. A lot of people confuse sex with affection and love, and offer sex hoping to at least get some form of affection out of it, and many people have a hard time offering basic affection outside of the act of sex. Sex is not love making, if can promote love when done right, most of the time, it is just sex.
Having sex to meet those other needs will further dysregulate your sexual energy, and make matters worse. It is like drinking alcohol to quiet your mind, then your mind will need more alcohol to get quiet, and alcohol will change the hard wiring of your brain, and make you more prone to lack of attention and depression. We need to be careful of how we meet our needs when seeking a healing path, all aspects of your life need to be tuned to more wholesome energies. That is the idea of the dark night of the soul, crossing the desert, to let all of your needs run dry, disengage most of your habits while you retune your whole system. Otherwise many of your bad habits will seek out other ways to get their needs met, creating more bad connections.
Sexual abuse and other forms of childhood trauma, become the "bad apples" in your energy system, and they will always infect other parts, again, which is why sex and making money often cycle around each other in negative ways. You soothe one in a bad way, and the other becomes harder to keep healthy.
How many stories of powerful men have you heard, who then become sexually abusive? It is not money or power that corrupt, it is attaining money and power before a person has gone though a proper healing process. It is their unhealed darkness that becomes so easy to indulge in when they think they have enough money or fame to get themselves out of any mess, that is the problem.
“The most important healing – realizing who you are. The healing on the outer level is fine, but it's not the essence of healing...” - Eckhart Tolle
So, this is a very good place to start for anyone aiming higher in their lives. And remember, many wounds from our past can be hidden from us, you need to probe through it even if you think your past is good enough as it is, or was. Psychedelic therapy is especially useful for these two chakras, as they relate to sexual energy and grounding in your body. Many traumatic experiences affect us physically, and many people with sexual dysfunctions also have issues with embodiment in general, or issues with embodiment can also affect our sexual energy. And again, these two energy centers share many common threads, which is why men who feel powerless because of their career or financial situation, can also have issues with their sexual energy and erections. The issues with spiritual energies affect both men and woman alike, but at times, the effects are different from one to the other, not more or less important, just in different aspects of our existence here on Earth...

"The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance..." - Brian Tracy
DESTRUCTIVE ENERGIES OF NON-ACCEPTANCE
When we don't accept who we are, what we have done and have been done to us, where we are, and where we've been, then we continuously send out very destructive energies all around us, we essentially negate our true selves. When you don't accept the totality of your reality, you then force non-compliance into everything, sending waves of destructive energies, like earthquakes, all around you. Unconditional love is complete acceptance of everything, with a desire to improve what is already there, otherwise it would be blind acceptance. You can accept the evil in this world the way it is, but, you must also aim higher at the same time. So, unconditional love is not perfection, it is an act of seeking better while being at peace with what is. We unfortunately do this over and over, to ourselves and to others, not accepting what is, and by doing so, we keep preventing our soul from taking form in our bodies. All of those energies linked with non-acceptance, like bitterness, resentment, regret, guilt, shame, they are all soul negating energies that you need to overcome, heal the reasons why you have them. And all negating energies prevent wholeness and meaning.
The light of our soul is perfection, with our eyes, we prevent that perfection from manifesting by focusing on our darkness and what we would prefer to have, instead of what is already us. A lot of it, is about control, and the fear of letting go, and fear and control are very opposite to acceptance.
“And so I wait. I wait for time to heal the pain and raise me to my feet once again - so that I can start a new path, my own path, the one that will make me whole again...” - Jack Canfield
We truly are powerful creators, if we combined all of our forces together, to create something tangible that we all believed in, the great pyramids would look to us like simple Lego structures compared to what we could build. But right now, we are mostly working against each other, we all want something more than what the other has, most of us don't accept who we are, and what we have. Some people have very little, so who can blame them, but for many who already have so much, it makes things so much worse. There is a great power struggle going on right now, the greatest it has even been, and it is tearing this world apart. Even the ones who used to accept having a "normal" job and a normal life, constantly ache for more and more, it is unsustainable. We all need some TLC, acceptance, and some down time to get over this massive state of overwhelm most people are stuck with.

TRAUMA LEADS TO UNREQUITED LOVE
Even with yourself.
There is no clear "you" when you have a lot of unresolved emotional history, there is no clear anyone, so there are no clear relationships to be had. Everything feels not quite right, no sense of meaning or purpose. Short term peace perhaps, focusing on goals to attain, but at some point it will all catch up, or, you will die from some kind of disease, or have so many regrets on your death bed. Your whole life becomes unrequited, your dreams unfulfilled, always something there that you can't quite put your finger on. A higher purpose, a desire to help people "somehow", never quite making it. Nothing can make sense to you, you can't even make sense to yourself, as long as you have not healed enough of your trauma.
Some people add a small "t" in front of trauma for the sort of normal not-so-painful things that can still result in trauma, like not having the toy you wanted for Christmas, not getting into your desired university, or not being as tall as you would want, all can create trauma, even if only a small "t" trauma. The big "T" trauma, well, physical violence and sexual abuse, long standing emotional and psychological abuse as a child, poverty, that sort of stuff.
It is impossible to develop a healthy love for anyone, even yourself, as long as you have a fair amount of trauma in your system, and the majority of people fit this description. Remember that the highest love is equal for everyone, not just a few people around you. True unconditional love only comes from the soul, our connection to God. And our connection to our soul gets degraded for every little bit of trauma we have in our system, and you won't be able to make sense of your life without a strong connection to your soul. Otherwise you are fairly limited, not much different than an evolved animal, it is our soul that gives us that extra boost of all the greatest things, what I call our most important assets, such as; compassion, joy, peace, gratitude, grace, hope, unconditional love, purpose and meaning, which is what most people are trying to aim for in life.
Even with yourself.
